Answer:

n(A∪B)=n(A)+n(B)−n(A∩B)−−−−−−−(1)

Given n(A)=7

n(B)=9

n(A∪B)=14

Substituting in 1

14=7+9−n(A∩B)

⇒n(A∩B)=16−14=2

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that ,

n (A∩B) = 25 , n (B - A) = 20 , n (A ∪B)= 52.

3) n ( B ) = n ( B - A) + n (A ∩ B ) = 20 + 25 = 45.

1) n (A ) = n( A ∪ B ) + n( A ∩ B ) - n( B ) = 52 + 25 - 45 = 77 - 45 = 32.

2) n ( A - B ) = n ( A ) - n( A ∩B ) = 32 - 25 = 7.
