p(t) = t {}^{4} - t {}^{3} + t {}^{2} + 6

p( - 1) = - 1{}^{4} - ( - 1){ }^{3} + ( - 1) {}^{2} + 6

p( - 1) = 1 - ( - 1) + 1 + 6

p( - 1) = 9

( b ) is the correct answer
