given sentence is merchant moves to countryside in 18th century as they were restricted for trade in town .
so, what is difference between countryside and town please someone explain me this with example.

In the 18th century the merchants from urban areas move to the rural areas in order to expand the production and rural areas as we know that in urban areas Monopoly rights have been given to the merchants so the entry of new merchants was banned So merchants started the system of advance to the peasants for production and after producing products peasants give those products to merchants to export those
