In Java, two or more methods can have same name if they differ inparameters (different number ofparameters, different types ofparameters, or both). These methodsare called overloaded methods and this feature is called method overloading. For example: Thesemethods have same name but accept different arguments.

Overloading allows different methods to have same name , but different signatures where signature can differ by number of input parameters or type of input parameters or both . Overloading is related to compile time or polymorphism.
