Step-by-step explanation:

since it is a two digit no. so let the no be 10x + y

on reversing the digits we for 10y+x

according to the question

10x+y -(10y+x)= 45

10x+y - 10y-x=45

9x-9y=45. ( eq 1 )

x+y=13.

x=13-y

now replace x in eq 1

9(13-y)-9y=45

117-9y-9y=45

-18y=45-117

-18y=-72

y=-72/-18=4

x+y=13

x+4=13

x=13-9=9

therefore the number is 94 and reversing the docks we get 49
