Given that a quarter has the area of 1 4 π in2, what is the maximum number of quarters that will fit in a square with an area of 225 in2? Show your work.

Given :- Area of quadrant = 14 π in²
area of square = 225 in²

Solution :-

area \: of \: sector \:  = 14\pi \\  = 14 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \\  = 44 {in}^{2}

no. \: of \: quadrant =  \frac{area \: of \: square}{area \: of \: quadrant}


no. \: of \: quadrant =  \frac{225 {in}^{2} }{44 {in}^{2} }  \\  = 5.11

Approx 5 quarters will fit in the square of area 225 in²
