Answer:

For cube

a= 10 cm

C.S.A = 4a^2

= 4 ×10×10

= 400 xcm^2

T.S.A = 6a^2

=6×10×10

= 600cm

FOR CUBOID

l= 12.5 cm

b= 10 cm

h=8cm

C.S.A = 2(l+b)h

=2(12.5+10)8

=2(22.5)8

= 45×8

=360CM^2

T.S.A = 2 ( lb+bh+hl)

=2(12.5 ×10+10×8+8×12.5)

=2(125+80+100)

=2(305)

=610cm

1)FOR GREATER C.S.A = C.S.A OF CUBE

- C.S.A OF CUBOID

= 400-360

=40

THEREFORE CUBE HAS GREATER C.S.A BY 40 cm

2) FOR GREATER T.S.A= T.S.A OF CUBOID - T.S.A OF CUBE

=610-600

= 10

THEREFORE CUBOID HAS THE GREATER T.S.A BY 10 cm

Hope it will help you
