Step-by-step explanation:

Given that event E has a probability of 0.35, the probability of the complement of event E a. cannot be determined with the above information b. must be 0.65 c. is 0.35 d. can have any value between zero and one

Given :

A has a probability  0.35

Find out :

The complement of event A?

Let us :

A be the event, and A^{c} be the non- occurrence of A

that is the complement of A .

Then, the probability of the non- occurrence is obtained from this rule of classical probability .

P (A) = 1- P (A^{c} )\\P (A^{c} ) = 1- P ( A )\\

then , P ( non-occurence of event )

1-P ( occurence )

= 1-0.35\\= 0.65

hence , by using classical probability the probability of the complement of event A is 0.65
