Solution :-

We have :-

• f(x) = x³ - 7x + 6

• g(x) = (5 - x)

In order to find reminder we have to make g(x) = 0

→ 5 - x = 0

→ x = 5

Now put x = 5 in f(x) to find reminder

→ 5³ - 7(5) + 6 = reminder

→ 125 - 35 + 6 = reminder

→ 96 = reminder
