Given:

log x = m + n and log y = m – n

Let's consider:

log 10x/y²,

log 10x/y² = log 10x – log y²

[Using log a m/n = log a m – loga n]

= log 10x – 2log y

= log 10 + log x – 2 log y

= 1 + (m + n) – 2 (m – n)

= 1 + m + n – 2m + 2n

= 1 + 3n – m
