its simple first you have to make the number rationql it means that it is in the form of p/q where q is not equal to zero if you prove that q is zero then it will become irrational hence your answer is solved hope its help

Answer:

assume 5√3-2 is a rational number

so

5√3-2=p/q

5√3=p/q+2

5√3=(p+2q)/q

√3=(p+2q)/5*q

but (p+2q)/5q is rational number

√3 is irrational..

there fore our assumption is wrong

so 5√3-2 is irrational..
