Given, sinθ=ab [∴sin2θ+cos2θ=1⇒cosθ=1−sin2θ−−−−−−−−√]

∴cosθ=1−sin2θ−−−−−−−−√

=1−(ab)2−−−−−−−−√=1−a2b2−−−−−−√=b√2−a2b
