Given that sound travels in air at 340m/s,find the wavelength of the waves in air produced by 20khz sound source.if the same source is put in a water tank,what would be the wavelength of the sound in water?(speed of sound in air =340m/s)

In air wavelength of sound wave =
speed ÷ frequency
= 340 ÷ 20000
= 0.017m

speed of wave in water =
wavelength in air ÷ refractive index of water
= 0.017÷1.33
= 0.0127m
