Given that y=4x−3y=4x−3, work out the value of xx when y=11y=11
I don't get this because i can't think of a number that you can multiply by 4 then subtract 3 to get 11 or am i missing something?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⇒ 4x = 11-3
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⇒ 4x = 8
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⇒ x = 8/4
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⇒ x = 2
