Given the equation of a regression line as y = 1.2x - 3.4. What is y value when x is 5?

y = 1.2x - 3.4

By placing the value of x = 5 we get :

y = 1.2 × 5 - 3.4

y = 6 - 3.4

y = 2.6

Hence the value of y is = 2.6
