no thats not an ap because its common difference is not same

ANSWER :

The given sequence is not an AP.
This is because the rule says that...

A sequence is in Ap if,
*second term minus first term should be equal to third term minus second term*

Here,

first term = 5
second term = 2
third term = -2

keeping the values in the above rule,
2 - 5 = -3
and

-2 -2 = -4

-3 is not equal to -4
hence, it is not an AP.
