glaring disparities in food consumption
Answers
Answer:
We all know that India is of unequal country meaning, we have income that is not divided equally; state of living – divided unequally and even the consumption of food too.
The availability of rich foods, for example, some of the protein-rich food like cashew etc., are not available for the ordinary man. Let’s forget about the rich food and concentrate on the common food which is not available to common man because of high cost and exports.
The food products produced with rich manure and good for the people, are being exported and sold at an exorbitant cost for the Indians. Example, groundnut. The prices of the products are very high that it is not available for the poor man and he suffers from malnutrition which in turn affects his working capacity and his earning capacity. The rich suffer because of over-consumption which in turn leads to lifestyle diseases.
We can bring this disparity down by proper planning and execution.
