Tigermilk is the 1996 début collection from Scottish pop gathering Belle and Sebastian. Initially given a restricted discharge (1,000 duplicates) by Electric Honey, the collection was in this manner re-discharged in 1999 by Jeepster Records.
The collection is named after an instrumental that did not wind up on the collection – it was later performed on Belle and Sebastian's initial visits. The greater part of the melodies on the collection were composed by Stuart Murdoch in the vicinity of 1993 and 1996, and initially performed solo on the Glasgow open mic circuit. Despite the fact that he performs on the collection, trumpet player Mick Cooke was not then an official individual from the band.
