Ofcourse,glass rod when dipped in glycerine vanishes because glycerine is the mixture of heavy mineral oil and second of light mineral oil.Thus, when Pyrex glass dipped into this mixture,it Danish due to the refraction produced b/w them.Hope it helpsyou.......... Mark it as a brainlist!

It is the refractive index of glass ie 1.5 and that of glycerine is ~ 1.5,hence the two materials nearing equal refractive index could make the available light ray passing from glass through glycerine to have no such deviations in marking the boundaries between the said transparent mediums which could vanish the existence of glass rod.
