Glass, wood and the human body will all conduct electricity to some extent. What do they each contain that makes it possible for them to do this?

as per your question:
Our body cells contain various ions like sodium ion, potassium ion, chlorine ion. etc. which have the tendency to conduct electricity thus making our body good conductor of electricity.
And for other things they too contain negatively charged ions (anions)

hope its helps you!

You must know that every matter is made up of atoms, and I we further divide atom, it consist of subatomic particles, electron, proton and neutrons. Every particle is important but we mostly focus on electrons because they are widely spread throughout the atom, revolving in their respective orbitals, since the number of orbital increases the distance of the electron increases from the nucleus, resulting in decrease in the force between nucleus and electrons. So the farther electrons break down the force and start moving in the vicinity of the atom (the last outermost part of atom) where they don't feel much force, and these electrons are the one which drift from one place to another whenever some potential is applied to the body and hence there flows the current due to the motion of electron.

Feel free to put up a question if you didn't understand the text or found anything incorrect.

Ayato15: hello i need a little help.... how is the force decreased between uncles and electron... explain it in easy please..
Ayato15: sorry it is nucleus ( uncles )*
dixitsatvik99: Let you have a magnet and a iron piece, if you bring the iron piece near the magnet, it will start attracting, but if you take that iron piece away from the magnet there will be no attraction felt because the force due to magnet is not strong at that long distance. Similarly nucleus contain protons and neutrons but protons are positively charged so they attract electrons, but if the electrons are far away from the protons they will not be attracted, similar case like magnet and iron piece!
Ayato15: My sincere thanks to you... And a very best example.. Thank you
dixitsatvik99: Your welcome! Good luck
Ayato15: Good luck to you too
