Glass, wood and the human body will all conduct electricity to some extent. What do they each contain that makes it possible for them to do this?
Answers
as per your question:
Our body cells contain various ions like sodium ion, potassium ion, chlorine ion. etc. which have the tendency to conduct electricity thus making our body good conductor of electricity.
And for other things they too contain negatively charged ions (anions)

You must know that every matter is made up of atoms, and I we further divide atom, it consist of subatomic particles, electron, proton and neutrons. Every particle is important but we mostly focus on electrons because they are widely spread throughout the atom, revolving in their respective orbitals, since the number of orbital increases the distance of the electron increases from the nucleus, resulting in decrease in the force between nucleus and electrons. So the farther electrons break down the force and start moving in the vicinity of the atom (the last outermost part of atom) where they don't feel much force, and these electrons are the one which drift from one place to another whenever some potential is applied to the body and hence there flows the current due to the motion of electron.
