In a novel he created out of affection for Today's struggle for independence, SD Sawant gives a glimpse through into past of what I found difficult.
- "Glimpses of the Past," a lesson, was authored by S.D. Sawant. The beginning image shows a gathering that occured in Delhi.
- At the celebration, Lata Mangeshkar started singing Hindi tune "Ae mere watan ke logon."
- The main theme of the song seems to be the promise made by martyrs for the welfare of the country.
- Martyrs are someone who endure misery and hardship in in order to safeguard the lives of others or their country against hostile troops.
- Lata Mangeshkar also sang song in honour of those who fell in the First War for Indian Independence.
- The well-known individuals seated at her side including Jawaharlal Nehru Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
- Nehru wept while he was listened to the sorrowful song. Likewise, the audience members were washing away tears as the listened to her song.
- Bhagat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi, Subash Chandra Bose, and Jhansi Rani Lakshmi Bai were some of the great leaders who sacrificed their lives for our homeland. As a result of liberation soldiers, India is a separate country today.
- Our nation is freed from the unscrupulous British with their blood and sacrifices.
- Her music made it very clear how many challenges our martyrs would then have to overcome in in order to establish India as an independent country.
