Global warming affects delta regions due to submerging the coastal areas because of rising sea levels near the coasts.
The global sea level of the world is rising due to the heavy melting of the ice glaciers at the poles.
If this continues for the next 20 years then about the whole continent of Australia might submerge and many others island countries too face the same fate.
