Globalisation is a multidimensional concept and effects all spheres of our lives. Its influence extends over to the cultural domain. As more western food change open their stores in India, the urban population has seen a marked shift in their food choices. The choice of attire is also changing as more people take to wear 'jeans' than 'khadi ' or 'linen'. Globalisation has even impacted our thought process which is often observed in in the disparaging comments made by the modern generation regarding the indigenous culture.
