The latest wedding that I attended was that of my cousin, Amit. I had been looking forward to it and intended to enjoy it to the fullest. Our family takes immense pride in being punctual. Hence, we arrived at the venue exactly on time, much to the surprise of the bride’s side. Since we do not believe in taking any cash or gifts from the bride’s side, the welcome ceremony (milni), was short and sweet. Soon enough, the bride and the groom were on the stage, exchanging garlands.Everyone cheered. People queued up to get the customary photo clicked with the couple. An hour later, the wedding ceremony began. The jovial priest explained each of the wedding vows in detail,making it relevant for everyone. All this while, we sisters were successfully guarding Amit's shoes! As the ceremony came to an end, the newly married couple sought the blessings of the elders and hugged their friends and family. Thereafter, we sat down to dinner. We were all famished and ate heartily. Each dish was made to perfection. The event went as planned and ended with us driving back, with a new addition to our loving family!

Last month i attended my bestie's big brother's marriage. there i had lot of fun with friends. this marriage was first marriage in which i danced with friends without any hesitation. Actually my bestie Rasika belongs to a muslim family. this was a first time i attended a muslim marriage, i was very excited to see muslim rituals. As a i was attending a muslim marriage i dressed like them i wore light green sharara with kurti. After dance that moment came for which i was waiting for there was kazi sitting between the groom and the bride, one by one he asked 3 times same Question to the bride and the groom. Question was do you accept this marriage (kya aapko yeh nikah kubul h). then both of them replied kubul h that means they accept this marriage.According to islamic religion now bride and groom are leagly wife (begum) and husband (shohar) kazi said. then we left from palace to home.i also clicked lot of pics with kazi , bride and groom, photographer was doing his work but i did my work by updating status.
