- It's situated near Pune, Maharashtra.
- It consists of 30 antennas each 45 m diameter for giant aperture synthesis.
- It was built by Tata Institute & governed by National centre for astrophysics.
- This telescope can be used to see high resolution as well as low resolution images simultaneously.
