Because one day is 24 hours long one can easily use time to calculate longitude. One hour of time difference corresponds to 15° of longitude (360°/24 hours = 15°/hour).
Earth rotates from west to east, so every 15° we go eastwards local time is advanced by 1 hour.
So time increased = = 3
Therefore time increases by 3 hours.
So, Time will be 10 am + 3 hours = 1pm
