• Viruses ( Common cold viruses, HIV,etc...)

• Protozoa ( Amoeba,plasmodium, etc...)

• Fungi ( Blue- green algae, spirogyra, etc...)

• Algae ( yeast ,mushrooms, etc... )

Some of uses of microorganisms are as follows:

In food industry:-

1. Micro-organisms are utilized in the making of curd.
2. Micro-organisms are utilized in the making of bread and cake.

Medicinal Use :-

1. Micro-organisms are used in preparation of medicine ( or drugs) called antibiotics.
2. Micro-organisms are also used to make vaccines.
