goa recieves more rainfall than puducherry why??​

Because Goa is in the windward side of western ghats whereas Pondicherry is in the eastern ghats .

Hi friends, There are two reasons for it :-

1. Because of the monsoon direction. In Goa the monsoon starts from the South-West side, so it gets more rainfall compared to Puducherry.

2. In Goa the water resources are more. So the evaporation process will be more and it leads to more rainfall than Puducherry.
