There was peace, security and prosperity in Gujarat during the Solanki period. In those times Anhilwad patan was considered as the most powerful kingdom Anhilwad patan was known as 'Vidya dham', i. e. the main center of education during the rule of Siddhraj Jaysinh. Gujarat's prosperity was at its apex during the reign of kumarpal. There was amalgamation of non - violence, prosperity and education in Anhilwad patan. Gujarat witnessed progress in Gujarati language and literature, art and architecture and religion therefore, the Solanki period is known as the golden period of Gujarat.
