when we do something good for somebody else it makes that person happy
Explanation:
Good deeds always make one happy. This is very beautifully brought out in the lesson ‘The Happy Prince’.
When the swallow wanted to leave for Egypt, the Happy Prince asks the bird to just stay for one night and help him by taking the ruby from his sword and giving it to the old lady, the seamstress who was so old and frail but had no money to feed her son and herself.
The swallow much against its wishes did as the Prince told him. Once it delivered the ruby to the seamstress, it realized that it did not feel cold.
On the contrary, the bird told the Prince that it was feeling warm and nice. The Happy Prince’s statue said that it was the effect of doing a good deed.
When you are kind and make someone happy through your generosity, it is bound to double your happiness. The same is depicted in the story of , ‘The Happy Prince.’
As a reward for their good deeds, the Happy Prince and the swallow were both given the pride of place in God’s Kingdom.
