1. plastic bags are more durable than paper bags .
2. They are less prone to tearing, easier to carry , and are far more useful in bad weather.
3. They are light in weight, water resistant , durable , strong.
4. some disadvantages on plastic bags they pollute the environment, pose a danger of wild life , do not degrade quickly and pose difficulties during recycling.

5. plastics are non- biodegradable.They don't dissolve in soil easily . It takes several years to decompose.
