Unsaturated fats are typically liquid at room temperature. They differ from saturated fats in that their chemical structure contains one or more double bonds. Polyunsaturated fats: This type of unsaturated fat contains two or more double bonds in their structure. They are liquid at room temperature.

Hydrocarbons containing C-C single bonds are known as saturatedhydrocarbins

EXAPMPLE :

ALKANES .

UNSATURATED HYDROCARBONS :

The hydrocarbons containing atleast one double bond C=C or atleast one triple bond between two carbon atoms are called unsaturated hydrocarbons .

EXAMPLE : ALKENES AND ALKYNES .
