In a solution of Copper sulpate, a strip of metal was inserted after that sometime the colour of Copper Sulphate solution faded away as

=> Metal M displaces Copper from Copper Sulphate solution as follow. :

M (s) + CuSO4(aq) ---------> MSO4(aq) + Cu (s)

=> Metal M is more reactive than Copper.
=> Type of Reaction : Single Displacement Reaction as one metal displace another.
