I am clearly against this statement that "Good manners are a waste of time in today's world".Maybe,In today's growing world, children may lack of basic courtesy, good habits and manners which they need to practice. They are lacking in these things due to the development of electronic gadgets such as phones,TV etc and parents are also eventually responsible.Because,in this Economically developing country like India,Parents don't have much to teach and take care of their children to distinguish the good from bad.Actually, people do not understand the importance of good manners.
Good Manners give a kind of respect to the people where they are.People with good manners will be admired.People tend to attach with people with good manners. It also helps to gain hygiene.
People don't want to attach with those who have bad manners. For example,In a bus,one doesn't have basic courtesy and doesn't learn good manners since his childhood will be Isolated. No one in the bus will talk with him. They just avoid him.
One may not know the importance of good manners now.But it is a very essential thing. So,I conclude by saying,"Good manners are never a waste of time in Today's world".

Good manners are a waste of time in today's world- Against.

As the man has the capability to talk and live in society, therefore a man is considered to be the intelligent creation of god. Since childhood, the parents must teach their child upon how to behave with parents, family, friends, neighbors and so forth. Manners refer to the good behavior that one must possess. A well-mannered person must be polite, gentle, sweet and disciplined. Good manners don't refer to the only behavior that is portrayed well in front, but one must possess the same attitude at the absence of any person also. A well-mannered person doesn't change in any condition and knows how to deal in a harsh situation with politeness and patience. Whereas, etiquette refers to the polite behavior among members of the profession or society. Etiquette includes how one talks with others, how one eats with others, how one regard others and so forth.

In order to keep a happy relationship one must use the magic words like, "Please, sorry, excuse me and thank you." Such manners and etiquettes open doors of opportunities and maintain positivity in our mind and soul.
