Answer:

Hight = 8cm

Base = 48cm

hypotenuse= 52cm

Step-by-step explanation:

  • area area of right angle triangle= 480cm^2(given)
  • let height of the right angle triangle is x

Formula

  • area of right angle triangle= b*h/2
  • according to question

=>(2x + 8)x /2 = 480cm^2

=>x^2 + 4x - 480= 0

=>x^2+ 24x - 20x - 480= 0

=>x(x + 24)-20(x + 24 )= 0

=>(x - 20)(x + 24) = 0

=>x = 20cm is taken because length can't be negative

=>Now base of triangle = 8+2*20= 48cm

=>hight of triangle = 20cm

=>hypotenuse of triangle = sqrt(20^2 + 48^2) =52cm
