Cyclic process:- When a spstem undergoes a number ot different processes and finally returns to its initial state, it is termed as cyclic process. In this, Change in all state function will be zero.

Reversible process:- It is a process in which all changes occuring at any part ot the system are exactiy reversed when changes in variables and are carried out in opposite direction.

Irreversible process:- In this process, work occurs from inital to final position in single step in definite time and can not be reverse.

★ Reversible process : ↓↓↓

In a reversible cycle, a cyclical reversible process, the system and its surroundings will be returned to their original states if one half cycle is followed by the other half cycle. Thermodynamic processes can be carried out in one of two ways: reversibly or irreversibly.

★ Irreversible process : ↓↓↓

An irreversible process increases the entropy of the universe. Because entropy is a state function, the change in entropy of the system is the same, whether the process is reversible or irreversible.

★ Cyclic Process : ↓↓↓

In cyclic process the system needs to follow the complete cycle to reach the initial state. If the cycle goes clockwise, the system does work. A cyclic process is the underlying principle for an engine. If the cycle goes counterclockwise, work is done on the system every cycle.
