hey

Good morning! Have a beautiful day!

1. FDI(Foreign Direct Investment) in retail industry means that foreign companies in certain categories can sell products through their own retail shops in the country. At present FDI in pure retailing is not permitted under indian law. In my opinion FDI is bad for indian economy . As it doesn't help the county itself it is not useful or helpful to the farmers of the country

2. A Multi National Company (MNC) which is not permitted to only one country. It produces goods all over the world. A MNC has many advantages as well as disadvantages

Advantages :-

☆ Increases the production

☆ cheaper goods at good quality

☆ Increases standard of living

Disadvantages:-

☆ Effects the local goods

☆ Effects other country's economy

☆ Small producers cannot compete with larger MNCs and perish
