The Harappan seal was made of a variety of materials. More than 2000 pieces have been found which have been created primarily using soapstone, copper and terracotta.

Semi-precious as well as precious stones have been widely used to show the grandiose techniques of sealing.

Rulers used a standardized system that helped communication over long distances.

A number of famous seals include the Unicorn, Elephant and Pashupati seals that uphold the unique craft of the era.
