MOON IS NOT ALWAYS COOL IN THE TEMPERATURE .AS COMPARED TO EARTH MOON HAS BOTH MORE HOTTER AND COLDER TEMPERATURES. IN SHORT TEMPERATURE IS MORE EXTREME .THE WHITE PART OF MOON WHICH WE SEE AND SAY ITS COLDER AS COMPARED TO EARTH IS ACTUALLY MUCH MORE HOTTER AS COMPARED TO EARTH WITH 100°CELCIUS TEMPERATURE. AND THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON WHICH IS VERY COLD WITH THE TEMPERATURE OF -173°CELCIUS.

it is only an illusion of coolness of the moon as seen in the night from earth.the moon is far hottest and far cooler than earth . The white side of the moon .i, e. the side which we see and call as moon in the night from earth and which appears as "cool "to us ,is actually very hot with over 100 degree Celsius temperature .
