good things about farmers

generally see a lot of people mention this - not having been able to buy things in India liberally, and being able to afford most of those things in the US without a second thought. There are two factors I want to point out that may not have been considered here.
- One, when we (or any third world immigrants) come to the US, we somehow get "used to" the idea that everything is expensive and tend to "live with it". That I-got-to-live-with-it attitude might be one of the reasons one might find it easier to buy things here (other than the obvious fact that goods are cheap here to some extent)
- Two, these observations are probably as single people. Once one has a family, that income may soon seem less (unless the spouse is also earning), so it might not be that different from India.
I do however agree that wages here are several times that of India - hands down.
