The important steps to be followed:

• The object of the verb is changed to the subject position and the subject to the object position.
• Verb in active voice is changed into its Passive form(Past participle form).

• Verbs in present continuous tense, past continuous tense and future continuous tense cannot be changed into passive voice.

• In passive voice, 'by' is placed before the object.
• If there are modals in the sentence, then the form is $\boxed{ \rm{modal + be + past \: participle}}$
• The pronouns in the active are also changed accordingly like I becomes me, they becomes them etc.
• For order making sentences, the passive form is $\boxed{ \rm{let + object + be + past \: participle}}$
• For Advice making sentences, the passive form is $\boxed{ \rm{should \: or \: must + be + past \: participle}}$

1. Animals eat grass.
2. Grass is eaten by animals.
3. The girls have eaten all the pastries.
4. All the pastries have been en eaten by the girls.
5. Is the boy playing football?
6. Is the football being played by the boy?
7. Did Ram tell the truth?
8. Was the truth told by Ram?
9. Close the main gate.
10. Let the main gate be closed.
11. Eat nutritious food.
