Answer: (a). He refers to TOTO

(b).Toto's presence was kept a secret as the narrator's grandmother did not like pets and she would've not accepted Toto as a pet in the house. Therefore, Toto was kept in a closet and was tied to a peg fastened to a wall.

(c).Toto came from a tonga-driver, which grandfather had bought him for 5 rupees.

(d).A few hours later, the narrator found a change in his bedroom. Toto had made himself free by pulling out the pig. he had removed the wallpaper of the bedroom. he had torn the narrator's school blazer.

Q.2 The Toto sold back to the Tonga Driver bcoz he used to do so many naughty that things.

Once, he jumped into a bowl full of water which was on the gas stoke . Grandma was boiling the water there. And then Toto came and sat in the bowl and started bathing. Few minutes later, when grandma came in the kitchen, she gently pulled Toto out of the bowl. Thus, she saved Toto's life.

Bcoz of these things, Toto was sold back to Tonga Driver.
