From these lines we can clearly see the value which is that education is the mistry important thing in the world . The narrator's grand mother realized that education is the most important thing in life and without education nothing was possible . She realized this when her granddaughter had gone in her cousin's wedding tho the neighbouring village , grandmother being alone at home could not read the next episode of magazine karmaveera . She was very helpless and finally decided to learn kannad from her granddaughter . The above lines also show her determination, confidence and her faith towards education.
