                Grannie poem summary

     The poem 'Grannie' portrays the feelings of a poet about her grandmother. The poet had lived with her when he was six years old and then he shifts somewhere else. The poet felt safe when she was near. She was so tall, so wide and so large. She never used to punish him instead she praised him when he was good.  

    The poet who joined military had got injured in a war and had to come back to his house. On the way back he saw the Grannie's house. He wanted her to come and visit him. She then came just to see him.
