Graphite is an amorphous allotropic form of carbon.

Graphite is an crystalline form of carbon. its atoms are arranged in hexagonal structure. It occurs in the natural form, it is the most stable form of carbon under room temperature. Under high temperature and pressure it generally converts into  diamond. Graphite is used in the pencils and in the form of lubricant. It has high conductivity and it is used in the electrical products such as electrodes and batteries.
