gravitational force exists between you and a building why are you not pulled towards the building ?

 Best Answer:  Gravity is a function of mass. The mass difference between one body and another must be astronomical in order for there to be a physical attraction (no pun intended). For example, the mass difference between the Earth and a human being is so large that the human is attracted to the planet. 

The mass difference between the Earth and the Sun is so large that the Earth is attracted to the Sun. The centrifugal force of the Earth revolving around the Sun keeps the Earth from colliding with it. The mass difference between a human and a building is large, but by comparison, it is very small, too. It's all relative.

Yes. It is true that between any two massive bodies. But, the masses of building and a person are very very small as compare to planets and stars. Hence, the gravitational pull is very weak, comparatively negligible.
