Answer:

Mass of the object, m=10 kg

Mass of the object, m=10 kgAcceleration due to gravity at earth, ge=9.8 ms−2

Mass of the object, m=10 kgAcceleration due to gravity at earth, ge=9.8 ms−2∴ Weight of the object on earth, W=mge=10×9.8=98 N

Mass of the object, m=10 kgAcceleration due to gravity at earth, ge=9.8 ms−2∴ Weight of the object on earth, W=mge=10×9.8=98 NAcceleration due to gravity at moon, gm=61×9.8=1.63  ms−2

Mass of the object, m=10 kgAcceleration due to gravity at earth, ge=9.8 ms−2∴ Weight of the object on earth, W=mge=10×9.8=98 NAcceleration due to gravity at moon, gm=61×9.8=1.63  ms−2∴ Weight of the object on moon, W=mgm=10×1.63=16.3 N
