"The population of ground squirrels will be limited by birds of prey I,e hawks as the hawks tend to feed on the squirrels.

When there is an improvement in the number of conservatives in a given area, the squirrels will be put in jeopardy as they will be fed on.

Otherwise, the population of tree squirrels does in no way affect the number of ground squirrels as they are of the same species.

Neither is the genetic variability and breeding season a limiting factor.
