Like Terms are those terms whose have same power of degree , every term have same degree of the same variable ..

in option B , 12a ans 12x are different variables .

in option C also , 25p, -25, 25 q are different variables.

in option D also , 12a and 25p are different variables..

in Option A 12x and x have same degree 1 and same variable x

Hence, out right answer is OPTION A.
