in simple terms and plain language..
GST means goods and service tax
there was a bill passed to implement this law regarding gst and now it is in existence..
it came into existence at midnight..
it has revolutionised the Indian taxation system completely by introducing tax on numerous substances and good..
with tax percentage being
5% 18% 25% etc..
due to this new taxation system..
the price of various good decreased like soaps and grains etc..
and the price of many goods increased considerably too..like alcohol and drug and cigarettes.
